Genuine BMW e90 Blackline Rear Lights

I have a set of Genuine BMW E90 Darkline Rear Lights in their Original boxes
(Not these cheapies that cause the bulb out warning !)

These are unmarked, brand new condition with all bulbs and are packed in the original wrapping and boxes.

Thought that I would offer them here before Ebay.

The retail price is now £220 delivered, I checked today at a couple of dealers,

£150 Delivered

I doubt you will fetch that price on here. I got mine for around £100 new. Maybe ebay is your best bet if you want more... remember to take into account ebay fees though!

i dont know which dealers you deal with but they are £132 with discount of 20%.
so they must be charging a hell of a lot for delivery.
not trying to kill a sale but save you looking daft when people will ring the dealers for themselves.
setting a realistic price will sell things quicker.

Did no one think to try the link to the dealer above, one of the biggest in the Uk ?

I also rang two other dealers and was given the same price for the same part number ???

German ebay also has them for a very similar price (£250) so I presumed my price was cheap.

If the 3 dealers I tried all have a similar price then how come they are £100 cheaper at another BMW main dealer ?

We're not trying to shout you down mate, just advising that for people that know on these forums blacklines rarely sell for more than £120... sucks I know but it's a fact.

I personally never called any dealers, I got mine from another forum member for around £100 I recall so I can't comment on the price difference.

So where are these 3 main delaers that I rang ( all different companies) getting the £210 + carriage price from then. Surely when they put this part number in to their computer they get the proper price which is the same for all BMW dealers.

I am not trying to 'rip' anyone off here, I paid £180 for these and thought I got them cheap so assumed £150 was a good price, obviously not.

Think I will ring a couple more dealers today including yesterdays and ask where 'other' dealers are getting theirs from much cheaper.

Update, After ringing Coopers again they have an error on there system and the price of £210 includes vat but there is a £10 carriage charge.

Tried two other dealers, same prices as the others on the BMW DEALER LIST

£178.72 + VAT = £210.00 + £10.00 Delivery = £220.00 Delivered.

That is 5 dealers in total from different groups, all with the same price.

Good for you mate. But what was the point in calling 5 dealers? The guys on here only try to help, you don't have to try and justify what you paid and what you would like back. On here we know what there worth and what we can expect to pay. You paid too much in the first place. Put em on eBay mate and maybe someone will think there gettin a good deal that isn't any wiser. Don't take offense but the guys were only tryin to help you shift them on

What was the point ?

The point was that I was sort of made out to be asking more than the retail price for these lights. I called other dealers to see just who does have them for the suppossed price of between £100 - £132 brand new.

The answer , not one of them, they all read from the same price list which is what I have quoted above.

If one dealer has them for a list price of £178.72 + vat, they all do. Yes, maybe one or two may give 10% off, I was offered 10% when I asked at one dealer today, they would not go to 20% though and rest offered no discount at all.

I just wanted to make sure that I was not missing anything which would enable me to reduce the price if I was wrong.

Fair enough Ian but a member on here called 'mega' organized a price of 146 Inc delivery if I'm right. These are brand new from the dealers through Darren Edwards I think. These lights come round all the time second hand. They sell quickly at the right price so we were only trying to help. So yours second hand at 150 seems a bit expensive.

ok i will settle the dispute with written proof that the lights can be bought for £132 all inc and that dealers do give 20% discount.
and also that all dealers dont all sing from the same hymn sheet.
i paid £131.31 inc vat with 20% discount and they were £143.48 retail plus vat not £178 plus vat at this dealers.

Jesus, copying invoices to make a point on a selling post when you are not in slightest bit interested in them anyway.

There is no 'dispute', all I want to do is sell my lights at what I thought was a decent price.

If I have rang 5 different official BMW dealers and they all quote £178 + vat + postage does this not state that the price must have gone up since some others got theirs ?

I mean, I am not making this price up, ring some dealers, get the price. If some dealers are willing to give 20% to good customers then great, the ones I rang would not. In fact two of them told me that I had to book the car in to have a 'flash upload' ?? so i just shows the irregularity between them.

I presumed that if they are £210 new then some 'as new' ones were a decent price for £140 + £10 postage.

Not one of the people who have made a post even want them they are just pointing out the errors of my pricing ??

So, what 'should' I be asking even if they are NOW £210 + postage and I personally could not get the 20% off, not that I wanted to buy any anyway !

No need for Popcorn guys, this is not a dispute, I have been quoted £210, Le Mans got his for £132 ish, something must have changed betwen now and then, apart from the vat.

I presume no one wants them then

£130.00 + £10 Delivery

i dont know how you managed that as I rang my local BMW (Doncaster) up and was quoted £161 plus VAT so in total just short of £200 and if the robbing f***ers were to give a 20% discount (which they wont) they would still be over £160 and thats if you pick them up!!

lemans...whos your dealer??
