I also forgot to mention that it has the Navi system, heated seats (but no cold weather package). For some reason though, they put the headlight washers in. Oh yeah - it has a 100K mile extended warranty too!

Thanks! I have the pics from when it was brand new. As of today it is sitting in "needs to be washed" mode. I gotta get some time to wash it then get some pics snapped. This is going to be a pretty busy week, so probably not til this weekend.

yeah sounds good. However, not many people wanna buy with mods...thats the only thing. Do you have a BT cable? Has the car been recently scanned by BMW? Ask for a warranty vehicle inquiry report from bmw if you take the car in. (and make sure you remove mods b4 you bring in!)

You my friend, have the car I've been looking for, for the past 6 months....unfortunately s/t came up recently and I need to put off my car purchase. But if this is still around (which i doubt it will be lol) I will be very interested.

Update: Car just went to BMW for service and got warranty covered scheduled brake service, cabin filter, diagnosis, safety inspection. also had a bubble in one of the tires, it was replaced. Tires have 5mm tread depth.

Thanks, but no thanks. I do like supra's but I have the Z06 for my speed fix - I know it's no 1000hp, but it will do for me I'm looking for something more practical/utilitarian and cheaper if possible.

Oh yeah, this car has 2 years left on the tire/wheel warranty.. So far got two tires replaced with it, so it has paid for itself. In NJ, it's a good insurance policy.

Funny story..

I go meet the prospective buyer at the local Wal-Mart and just as we pull out, the car goes into limp mode, juddering, eventually it coughs and gives up. Let it sit a bit, start it (long cranking start), and it runs ok for a few seconds then repeats. So it got flat bedded back to BMW center where it sits now. I suspect the HPFP let go - great timing since it was there yesterday and checked out perfectly healthy! WTF?

The shots I took area crap too, looks like I had some dirt on the sensor of my DSLR, so I might post a few but they don't look very good. What a friggin day. Since car is at the BMW center I won't be doing a re-shoot until I get it back, and of course, it will need to be re-washed again

Funny story is right....Spent a couple of hours driving to check out this car with my cousin who is the 'prospective' buyer. Unfortunately just as they take the car out for a test drive, the car dies (probably hpfp?!?). On a positive note, the car is pretty clean besides a few rock chips that are touched up in the front and some bugs that probably got squashed on the front bumber. Paint could probably use new coat of wax, otherwise awesome car. Gary was also very friendly...Too bad the HPFP just HAD to go out today. Hopefully its not more of an issue than that. Def let us know when you get the issue resolved.

I should have the car back tonight. It's getting a fuel pump (as I suspected), and it is getting programmed, oil change, etc.

I'll tell you what, I will miss the BMW experience when this car goes away.. Great center here in Flemington, as well as a great car..

Are these cars more prone to having a SECOND hpfp failure if it's already had one? Or are the chances of it failing again the same as if it never failed in the first place??
