Which Cobb map to run with DCI and E85/91 mix?

Wondering which mapping is best to use for E85/91 mixture?
I dumped in 5 gallons E85 and 11 gallons 91.
Only mod is dual cones.

running that type of ethanol mix you could likely get away with stg 1 aggressive. do logs of sport and aggressive, see how trims, afr, timing etc looks.

Do you drive hard in short bursts or hard sessions? In short bursts of a few seconds at a time you could run the E30 race map. Just don't take it to the road course that way.

Just short quick runs, never any long pulls.
Is the E30 map more aggressive than Stage 1 Aggressive?

You do not want to run e30 maps without the required modifications. If you want I can put together a map for you just email me and we can discuss it. jhershorin@protuningfreaks.com

+1. PTF FTW.

BTW, All you need is 20% E85 pump, whis is about 3 gallons to mix with ACN 91 to run Agg. MAPs. Log it to ensure. Trust me I went through it all with 91.

Do you get more bang for the buck if you run 5 gallons E85 with a fill instead of 3 gallons?

You are only using the Ethanol to clean up timing corrections & run aggressive tunes, and a bit more ponies. it you are not properly tuned you really are not getting any power benefit per say, from 5 gallons.

Ethanol is less dense, thus it takes more fuel than regular pump gas. I haven't done any comparison, but, I am getting about 15 mpg with 50% Ethanol vs my 18 mpg I was getting with ACN 91. As my DD

And of course the E50 Tune is for performance not for MPGs.

if you wanted to do the math, 8.5 gallons of E85 and 7.5 Gallons of 91 is my current setup.

about $3.60 gallon E85

about $4.40 gallon ACN 91.

In case you're interested these were my results from playing with E85 on stock hardware. Results not corrected for elevation. My custom E85 map is fairly similar to the E30 OTS map but fuel is adjusted for a higher E85 content. I found the E30 map to be a bit too aggressive in timing for my tastes on only 30ish % E85.
