I love this forum!
One minute nothing, next minute, Mak is online trying to diagnose, Jammy is offering his help and I have 2 3 other lovely people on the thread helping. Since Jammy installed it for me, I'll get to him and work through the issues step by step. Hopefully we can get to the bottom of it quickly. For the rest of the guys that offered their help, please standby incase Jammy and I can't meet for whatever reason. I'm looking at doing this on the coming wknd. Thanks again. |

I'm baffled to think why it's fuse 60.. it's a BIG fuse for relatively small power no? I did check fuse 60 and it seemed OK. Will check it again. How did you check if the fuse was ok or not btw? |

You can clearly see in the fuse that the metal inside is broken. Like this:
I'm not sure why the fuse boxes would be different (I have a 2007 E93), but my fuse box diagram was completely different to yours. Good luck with it! |

Right guys,
Was doing some reading and landed on some gold dust - I hope. I have noticed that my boot light and glovebox light weren't coming on either but I for some reason putt his down to having fancy LED changing colour lights as part of my air/audio boot build. But its making more sense that its FAR more likely to be fuse related than Emulator, CID/HU related. I checked fuse 60 because I read that could be it... but to me it looks good....but I may be wrong. I'll buy another one and replace it anyways in case it's dud. My fuses go in mainly 5s, 7.5, 10s, 12s, 15s, 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s and 60, being the largest one. |

Thanks Sam, but there doesn't seem to be a fuse 61 from what I've seen! Maybe it's just not in there all of a sudden let alone blown. Any idea where exactly it goes so I can either buy one and put in or take a closer look. Seen my chart diagram and it's not there physically on the fuse box...

Sam you can clearly see where fuse 61 is.
If you have missing fuse then add it. Pre 03/07 car shares fuse 61 for cid, glove box and boot light.

No idea. This is the diagram taken as I had pre 03/07. You check on your fuse diagram and see if you have fuse 61. If the pic on first post is from your car then 61 is for glove box / cid / boot light.

Not yet Man. Bee busy at work. I've taken car back to my air ride installer as it needed finishing up and have asked him to look into it.
What's strange is that the fuse box diagram suggests it could be fuse #61... but there isn't even a 61 in my fuse box.... so really strange. My glove box light, boot ligjt and cic screen aren't on which has to be one thing only.... A fuse. So really baffled why that's not even in there and where it could be. |
