Anyone have a NAV disc newer than the 2005.2 version?

I successfully burned and verified the 2007.2 on DVD-R and DVD+R using different programs and different burners and it still doesn't work in my car. The nav screen just says Incorrect Disc

Is there a specific disc I need for a 2005 Z4? NavTeq.com says I should be using the High DVD Map Update, is the torrent for the Professional DVD Map Update?

I think there are different versions of the nav dvd for different cars.
My 2007.2 does not work on a 2004 3 series. My friend tried and he got the
same "invalid disc" error message.

Yup, that's what I figured.

Here's the deal.
The 2007.2 torrent is for the PRO version, which is compatible with:
3 series 2006 (4 door only)
3 series 2007
5 series 2005-2007
6 series 2004-2007
X5 2007

I need the HIGH version, which is compatible with:
3 series 2003-2005
3 series 2006 (2 door only)
5 series 2003
7 series 2004-2007
X3 2003-2007
X5 2003-2006
Z4 2003-2007

Anyone with the HIGH version want to share with me? I'd be glad to pay for the costs of burning and shipping, or just download it. Send me a message if you can help :-)

If anyone is trying to burn the NAV disc on a mac I have successfully burned the 2007.2 disc on my mac and it works perfectly. The process is incredibly simple (Im using OS X Tiger). Simply open the disk utility and click on the .ISO in the list on the left side, if it doesnt show up simply point the program to the .ISO, and then click the burn button. You will be told to insert a blank disc to burn to if you haven't put one in already (I used a DVD+RW) and thats it. Once finished I did receive a message that the burn was unable to be verified but that doesn't matter, the disc works fine.

I'm using the same navi update disc for both of my cars... no probs
I don't think there are different navi discs for the 3 series.
I know there is for the X models

I never saw info on the 1 series NAV units. Is it a pop-up kind like the x3 and z4? Or is it in-dash like the rest of them?

If it's pop-up I would bet it's the high version you need.

Take a look at navteq.com's order page, the 3 series have different versions and the above list is 100% accurate. I know it is strange.

Sometimes ebay, or you can buy it and then ebay it. The other option, is if you are a Bimmerfest.com member you can rent one for $50....
