just bought a JB4 g5 from Condor3 two weeks ago and I never received any item from him and he stopped answering my pm. guys be aware the member was selling a lot of parts at a cheap price, and some other member also is the same situation like me with other part. these are one of his post. who can talk about it please? I lost now 310.00 the other member around 150. The name of the seller is supposed to be Lin Richards, who else is in this situation?

If you didn't gift the money, file a claim with paypal. They will give you your money back, you have 45 days I believe. If you gifted it, you shouldn't have.

I wouldn't wait to file a claim with PayPal if anything it will get him to respond sooner, you can always cancel the claim at any time.

That's kinda the nature of buying used and thru un-official channels. I personally only limit to my used purchases in person and even then I know I might get left holding a bag of rocks so I make sure the sale price is low enough to not make a dent in my pocket if i lose.

Always better to pay a couple bucks more and buy "insurance" (using paypal and not gifting money, ebay, etc...). Trust is like love, you only learn the true meaning once you have been hurt.

Even better & easier than filing claim with PayPal - if you used a credit card to pay, just dispute the charge with your CC company. You will get a faster response & more than likely, a more favorable one...

I apparently have also been scammed by this guy. I've been waiting almost 2 weeks for a set of tail lights. Unfortunately I gifted the money so I may have no recourse in getting a refund. Lesson learned.. Suggestions?

These are always high risk transactions. I would avoid making any deals outside the protections of ebay and paypal. To hear people are still gifting sellers is hard to comprehend, that is a near guarantee it's a scam.

This is BS. Are people really that stupid? I'm sure we've got a member that lives near him that could go, you know, pay him a visit? In fact, my cousin lives in vista, ca...he's one of those guys you'd rather not have to explain yourself to...

And for the record, if anyone ever gets cross with someone in the Denver area put me on the collections list. I was a bounty hunter in my college years.

Yea 2.5% insurance is not too much to ask. I mean your talking like $2.50 for every $100 you transfer as insurance. Your already saving money on the used vs new pricing... why not roll 2.5% into cheap insurance.
