I do not know, we have to wait for a reply from SOG. We all know everyone takes cash though!!

As for how long the windows can not come down? It depends on the wether. The cooler/damper the longer. At this time of the year, and highs in the 60's I think they are going to tell us 5 days. If cooler and a lot of rain afterwards, I think longer. Those are my guesses though......

I wonder if they know that our windows go up and down a few millimeters when we open/close the door. Hope that doesn't affect the install.

That is only true on the coupes..... Many other cars do this also, so I am sure this is not going to be an issue.

I am glad to hear that everyone is good with the times they were given.(Well, other then ejazbmw...) All in all I think everyone got what they originally asked for.

Also, so everyone knows, I will be arriving early in the morning with the first two cars up: Alex's and Sam's, and will be staying until a little past the time my car is done so meet everyone.

no offense ejazbmw...but that's the dumbest thing I ever heard. Lol, you want the car to be outside as much as possible during the drying process. UV from the sun is what cures it the fastest. At night, no worries then to keep in the garage. Rain doesn't hurt whatso-ever. We have a 2200 s/f shop where we've had 4 cars in at one time b4. BUT, there's only 2 of us...lol, so 2 at a time would be ideal.

We accept cash or VISA/MC. Cash of course is always easier...and we do have to charge tax on credit card...but we do accept it.

We are very familiar with the door movement on the coupes. That type of thing has been on the market for a looooooong time. No worries. We know what to do. Most newer BMW coupes, new gen Eclipses, 350Z's, G35/G37 coupes, latest mustangs, a lot of the mercedes coupes...just to name a few of the cars that this applys to.

I hope that covered everything...anything else?

I think the only thing that was not covered, is the actual drying time we should expect to endure before we can lower the windows at this time of the year.

Assuming highes in the 60's (with sun), how long are we looking at?
Based on your answer, and the amount of rain we will get the following week, we should know when we can start operating the windows again.

Sorry, this is a group buy that has been filled for a couple of weeks now. However, there are several on a waiting list that are interested, and I think you might be able to get your own group buy going if you talk to Shades of Gray and set up a date. But for this date, the time slots are all filled.

However, if you want to show up to see what is going on, and perhaps see how dark to go, that is fine. But again, do not expect your car to get done that day.

haha yeah i guess it is dumb, i guess he said that because when i was thinking of getting my tints done it was pretty crappy weather that week so i guess he said a garage would be nice.. but I do respect the guys opinions since he works out of a small garage and works on some crazy exotic cars its always a joy to see what hes working on

it would be a good idea for the people that are on the waiting list to start organizing their group buy and get serious people join up for this amazing prise.
i think the minimum people was 5??? the sooner people on the waiting list organize their group buy the sooner they can get their tints done maybe maybe the 4/12 slot is still open

+1 on that. There seems to be almost 6 of you guys on the waiting list now so you can probably set up another GB.

I'm on the waiting list and would be willing to join another GB tint event if there's enough interest.
