Who did you buy the M3 replica front bumper from?

There are several companies advertising M3 replica front bumper. Some are polypropylene some are polyurethane. PM sent! Likewise, where did you buy the ducts? And do the ducts also vent to the brakes like stock? Thanks!

You PMed me the same questions so I'll just answer them here...

Bumper from Modmy3 and ducts from Tischer. The passenger side duct feeds air to the oil cooler and the driver side duct is only for cosmetic The stock brake ducts weren't that important anyway since they just points to the tires. I went to a track day and the brakes weren't my biggest concern, oil temp and tires were the limiting factors.

nice work on the lip - I was going to attempt this on my m3 rep bumper but ended up selling the lip because my body shop said it was not "bolt on" lol. M3 ducts >> fogs - well done!

Talking

I believe this is the exact lip for anyone else who was wondering JL-motoring sells a couple of similar ones but this one I noticed does not have the "fins" that wrap up onto the side of the bumper, a much cleaner more subtle look IMO.

I installed it myself initially, the duct does bolt up to the oil cooler, just leaves a huge gap between duct and bumper. So I brought it to body shop, they trimmed it more and attached the duct to bumper instead, the duct is not 100% sealed against the oil cooler (since it's no longer bolted) but very close since they did a great job!

It's a JL Motoring replica I got from a forum member

thanks for the spacers and lugs! can't wait to put them on

Looks sharp, looks a million times better without the gay coke bottle foglights!

For all of you asking about the ducts vs. foglights: You can order m3 replica bumpers with ducts in place of the foglights ready to go, there's no need for a conversion, that's what I did recently, screw those gay ass foglights.

LINK PLEASE!! I would LOVE to get a bumper (and do the Kerscher lip ) with the ducts already attached. Every vendor I've seen on this site sells the bumper with the fogs. Any leads would be great!

I don't know how many times I come back and look at this car. I just think this front setup is done to perfection.

did you set up the whole system with duct hoses directed towards the rotors? Have you tested if the additional air low into the brakes is signifcant enough to help the OEM brakes survive track sessions? I am having brake issues at the track so I am considering testing all option before spending $3-5k on a bbk.

Air ducts is the last thing I have left to try.....after that is the BBK plunge

thanks
