Anyone with iDrive ever have it not boot up correctly? - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

I have had it not get past the =BMW= screen a couple times.

Try to manually reboot it using the mute+eject+eject combo.

Something weird happened to me yesterday--started the car, and the iDrive screen was blank for more than 5 mins. I tried shutting the car down and restarting, but the screen was still blank, the stereo did not work, and the BMW assist was broken according to the Check Control.

After driving around for 5 mins, the iDrive screen pops up and boots up. Strange behaviour...
