Ok guyz a little issue just popped up. Log of stg 1 agressive are still looking
Fine but from time to time, in any speed above 3rd gear (3rd, 4th, 5th or 6th even) when going part throttle or flooring it from cruising the engine is bogging down and feel like its shaking. Look like misfires to me but no check engine and cant reproduce at will (as normally when trying to reproduce after it happens it goes fine). Could it be heavy boost oscillations causing something like this ? Once again no limp mode, no check engine or stored code and no half engine light. It's starting to get me worried. Also as I cant reproduce at will cant really log whats happening.

Edit : forgot to add it seems to happen at 2500-3000 rpm most time it happens (3 time since flashing to agressive)

There's only one tming correction on the 1-2-3 gear pull so that's good. The timing itself is LOW, but that's almost certainly due to the HOT charge air temps.
Thanks Guys - so I take it everything looks fine, it was warm (80 with humidity @ %54) yesterday when I ran these.

It sounds like it could be boost oscillations. My oscillations are sort of random as well and i can't really predict when they're going to happen to get a good log of them.

i would think 6 would be good. IIRC the stock DVs work off of a 6psi pressure differential.

ok, cause i think the hks valve is leaking, car wont boost over 4-5 lbs. im wondering if maybe the BOV i have is setup for stock boost, and running the cobb stage 2 is causing it to leak.

getting a loud police siren type noise from the intake side, sounds like a supercharger.

Stage 1+ and Stage 2+ only.

Bear with me here as this is my first time logging. Other than the basics, I don't know what in the hell I'm doing. I had be running the V402 alpha maps for a few days and loaded the V402 beta maps today. I am running Stage 2+ Aggressive, stock throttle.

I did a couple of WOT 3rd gear runs for the DME to adapt before logging. Keep in mind that it is hot and humid as hell here in Florida right now. I did a couple of 2nd & 3rd gear runs and a couple of WOT 3rd gear runs. I felt a hiccup during one of the 3rd gear runs. Could be a misfire as I have gotten a few misfire codes on cylinder 4 recently.

Let me know what you guys think of the new maps in my logs:

BlueBimmer,

Why does that suck? Are you experiencing boost oscillations on a non-Stage+ map?

Thanks,

Gary

Get yourself some DP's, an intercooler, and intake and you can experience it.

If you don't have boost oscillations, then you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between 4.01 and 4.02....

Exactly the smoother is because boost oscillations are gone...

Thanks! I went to the dealership and got a coil today after the runs. I'm having PRS make me an E85 map on Saturday and will post updated E85 logs and dyno's from map 0, Stage 2+ V402 OTS map and the E85 map for comparison.

I will be sure to check in on Sunday.

Working on an intake - need to keep car as close to stock as possible so I can still take it in for warranty visits.

Intake gives nothing at those powerlevels. A dealer wont spot an ic just by doing an oil change.

Are stg1 sport and agressive coming out as 4.02 too ? I'm pretty sure I do have oscillations on stg1 agressive and a little less on sport
