Alright Vishnu What's going on

First off i'll say your guys' product seems to be pretty awesome, however the customer service stand point needs a whole lot of catching up w/ the product's awesomeness level. I placed my order 11 days ago and I didn't hear anything until 4 days later until Ali called saying they can't ship to an address thats diff from the billing address. Fine that's cool. I then asked him when will it be shipped and when i should get the item. He then tells me going out today (thurs 2/7) and should get it Monday. Monday came and went, nothing. Tuesday came and went, nothing. The following Wed i PMed Ali as of today (friday) not a word back. So this morning I send a PM to Shiv, and Dustin as of now, a few hours later, no reply. I sent an email to the sales@vishnutuning, i get a reply back saying the item has not been shipped, and its on Backorder. I then try to call the number on the receipt of the order which by the way is NOT a working number ((925) 924-9800), so i went to the website and found a different number ((925) 648-7863), i call that one and its some third party call center and they can't provide me a direct number to Vishnu. All i got to say right now is I'd like a FULL refund (w/o any restocking fee BS cuz you guys dont even have any in stock), the wait isn't worth the power benefits anymore.

PS my order number is 11333584

flame away...........

If you paid by credit card, you shouldn't worry. If Vishnu doesn't give you the full refund, your CC company should take care of it.

Try make a post on the Vishnu forum too.

just call your credit card company and tell them not to let the charge go through to begin with. you'll have nothing to worry about.

wait, they charged you and it's backordered? that's bullshit... i've never heard of ANY retailer ever that charges your card unless the product is prepared for shipping.

Anyone else shocked by this? It happens everyday. The sooner you realize they care more about your money and less about you as a customer, the better off you'll be. See my long thread in this forum for all the evidence you need.

Not a Fan of Vishnu at all, but I think you guys should see this video. Read the thread. His customer service sucks. I actually order a procede and had to do a chargeback because THEY CHARGED MY CARD AND NEVER SHIPPED ANYTHING! Fast to charge the cc but slow on delivery of product. Not even that but I left numerous voicemails and was never called back or e-mailed. What else am I suppose to do?

Called and did a chargeback. The CC company is very understanding and Shiv will get hit with a 5-10% chargeback fee on the transaction also. It will take about 2 weeks to get your money back.

i wonder why shiv doesnt fire his customer support personnel (if any). everyone complains about them. i mean i wonder what he tells CS in their yearly review (if any, again) or how they feel when everyone bashes customer support.

it's like all the success he comes up with, those guys seem to fuck it up big time

Because he doesn't care. All he sees is $$$$ signs and Gallardo's, 911's, etc. He's making his money on his piggyback until reflashes/portable reflashes start coming out in quantity and getting out when he no longer has the early mover advantage. Moving on to the next car where he can do the same thing. It's a smart business move, just one with no ethics. His greed will catch up to him eventually.

But I'm sure they will come on here and say they were on vacation for President's day or there was some sort of dyno day out of town and then if your lucky, offer you some half-ass compensation and make you feel fortunate to get that.

You DO NOT pay his restocking fee BS. Do the chargeback and be done. It may take a little but you will get a FULL refund.

Man, you basically summed what has been going on in the Evo world down to 2 paragraphs. I know sooo many people who can't even get rid of their Xede and are using them as expensive paperweights.

Just to offer a different possible point of view, I've been reading all the V2 posts for a while now and it still seems like 90ish% of his customers are happy. Is it possible that since so many people have the V2 (or older version) in comparison to other ECU upgrades out there right now that the ratio of people with problems seems overestimated?

I'm not saying they couldn't use work on customer service (from what I've read at least, I ordered a V2 too but wont be back in the country for another few months) or that the limp mode issues are ironed out. It just seems like there are a handfull of you guys that make up 90% of the negative posts and that people happy with the product will post the usual "Mines good to go! no problems over here!" like once a few months as opposed to you guys (who you gotta admit, some post the "die vishnu die!" posts every day!).

Again this is just casual observation, go easy on me!
