FS: 2 SWS-8's with jtsherri spacers!!!!
I bought these two subs less than a week ago but decided to use my jl 10w3's instead. I installed them with the spacers from jtsherri and they fit FLAWLESSLY. There are two spacers for each sub. One to give it more room in the box and the other to raise the cover off the sub so it doesn't make contact when they move. The subs are already wired through the spacers so you literally just have to butt connect or solder them to the stock sub outs and the stock sub outs to your amp and your ready to go. They have MAYBE 20 minutes of use on them. I would like to get 240 for the subs and spacers SHIPPED to anywhere in the continental US. I can take pics later tonight if someone is interested. Just PM me. |

Do your boxes look like these? If-so, they should be the 4 Ohm. I believe the SWS-8X are 4 Ohm version and SWS-8Xi are the 2 Ohm version.
I think either version *should* work without a amp, but they definitely have A LOT more in them than what the stock amp can provide. Also, you have the latest version of the spacers that are machined from the more durable black material. Good luck with the sale!

Where did you get those spacers?? I just fit mine in there, but spacers would have been great, lol.

This is true (PM me for details); however, if anyone needs both the subs and spacers, definitely pick up FlyLow335i's - this is a good deal!

Thank you Jason.
If you are local I would be more than happy to do the install on them for you (with you helping so you learn) for the 240$ price. Now you can't beat that!! |

do you need to use silicon or window foam tape to seal them?
or is the spacer all you need to make it air tight? isn't the spacer made of a harder material? how can it seal correctly? |
