For the track - go with black. Brake dust will make anything silver black anyway. Trust me, much easier to take care of and won't look crappy while you're at the track.

My general rule of thumb:
-Silver if the car has a more "OEM" look to it... not a lot of aggressive bodywork, etc -Darker colors if the car has a more "aftermarket" look to it But, the most important rule: -What do YOU like? Ordering what everyone else likes is how everyone and their mom ended up with identical E46 M3's |

With a blue car you really have a lot of options....I used to have a white car and black wheels really offered a nice contrast, I now have an SG car, and I am not a fan of the monochromatic look and with this car I opted to go for the OEM+ look, I didn't need all the police attention I got with my white car on black Volk Time Attack CN28's ....
In the end, it's what you prefer, the tuner look (go black/gun metal) or more of the classic OEM look (Silver) as per what the Jlevi guy said. Here's my ride... My intention was a nice Sporty CLEAN OEM look. I wanted something that looked like it came from the factory this way, vs tuned up look. |

Thanks guys I have been leaning towards the hyperblack, either way the vb3 is a couple of pounds lighter than the 162 wheels and I will be switching to non-run flat tires which will help out there, any more opinions?
