I have a 2009 328i with a problem on top where the overhead console is the sunroof can’t tilt or move the I tried the reset procedure nothing replaced the console thinking it resolved the issue but it did not I tested the fuse box with a probe no fuses were popped also the lighting on top for example the mirror light don’t go off same as the ones on the console replaced the bulbs and nothing worked need help thsnks

Try disconnecting the battery for about a minute. Connect back see if this helps. Read for error codes If you have a code reader.

Thanks for the advice anything else you could think of I really appreciate the help hope this fixes it

Since you already checked the fuses and replaced the console, but the sunroof still won't move and the lights won't turn off, it could be a more complex electrical issue at play, possibly a wiring problem or a fault in the Body Control Module (BCM) that controls these functions.It might be worth getting a professional diagnostic to specifically check the wiring and BCM for any faults.
