Question Help with airbag code

Hello,

Can someone please help me diagnose DTC 0093B1. Car hasn't crashed, only recent thing I did was remove the blower, because the FSR (Final Stage Resistor) went bad. All of a sudden I'm getting DTC 0093B1. I did two things, move around the cables under passenger footwell and disconnect airbag connector under passenger. Code cleared momentarily, but then came back one. Would really appreciate if someone could point me in the right direction.

Thank you.

Most likely because you disconnected the airbag connector. Not sure what to do about it. You may have to take it to the dealership if you cannot clear the code. Good luck 👍

I disconnected/connected the airbag connector after the code appeared, this helped me clear the code once, but moments later light came back on.

Try using contact cleaner spray on the airbag connector - that's what worked for me.

I received the contact cleaner today and applied to connector under the seat. That didn't help, any other suggestions?

Thanks

I got an airbag code CC-ID 97 when I did my seat swap on my E92 335xi even though I disconnected the battery before doing it.

Although I now use Bimmercode/Bimmerlink (which I highly recommend), back then I purchased a Creator C310 which was able to clear the code

Thanks Pedro. Ordering OBDLINK CX from Amazon now. I'm guessing I have to purchase Bimmercode/Bimmerlink separately. Thanks
