for the pre-lci models we have the LUX E90 V5.1 available.

Well my driver side V3's died today. I got the bulb failure indicator walked around the car and saw they were off. I checked for loose wires, nothing. I plugged in my original bulb, it came on no issues. For $260 and less than 6 months (June 22 purchase date) of use I pray LUX warranties it. I've been very happy with them and had no problems until today. We'll see how their customer service with a warranty replacement is. I've basically sold at least 5 of these things for them by raving about them to friends

I had the same problem a year or two ago with the V2 and it was only used about for about 6 months as well. LUX exchanged everything free of charge.

I want to reiterate that I have been very happy with this product for a half a year up until the driver side went out yesterday. They had worked as advertised up until then. Like most of you any aftermarket part I add to my expensive car I make sure I do right even if that means spending in excess. These are the best but spendiest LED angel eye replacements (excludes OSS). Their customer service getting me the product was great, so I'm glad see so far they are maintaining those expectations months after purchase. I sent the email and I'll update you guys on the process. Thanks Marc!

Hi Marc,

In your installation guide for the e90 LCI (I have a 2009 328xi sedan), are we supposed to cut off the plastic tab in the headlight housing or just remove the top part of it? Once the Lux H8's are in, do we re-attach the tab or leave it off? And finally, what function does that Tab have in the first place?
