Get a BMW specific code first because this code is too general.

If you want to save the money for now, download the MHD Tuning app for Android. They have a scanner on there that is free to use. If you don't have the needed cables than I recommend the Creator C110. It's like 45$ and it's cheap for what it is. But I believe that it doesn't have as many functions as the nt510.

Or you can install the BMW dealership software INPA for free.. more thorough for diagnostics than MHD. Just need the KDCAN cable.

Bootcamp. Or you may be able to do it in a virtual machine but not sure. Or borrow a Windows computer or get a cheap one on Craigslist.

If you load Windows through Bootcamp, it runs no problem. I use my mac for all the BMW programs.

A virtual machine should work as well. I've never tried it with BMW software though.

That 2774 indicates that you might have a vacuum leak somewhere. Some leaks are very easy to find and some are really hard. Smoke tests can sometimes show you where the leak is but most of the times it's hidden somewhere. It could be your chargepipe, cracked valve cover, intercooler and piping or your boost solenoid might be damaged due to age. If you don't have a vacuum leak than it could be a faulty TMAP sensor. The TMAP is the sensor that goes into your CP. The 2BC1 could be appearing because the effects of 2774.

You should get a boost leak test at an indy.

Anyways I tightened it cleaned my maf even though it looked spotless and started the car and got the code for the TMAP you mentioned so I'm assuming that is my problem looking for the part number now
From what I remember, there isn't a clamp holding that down but rather just a screw. Make sure you connect the pipes really good and then tighten the screw while pushing down and putting pressure on it. Number 25 on that diagram is the TMAP. Is that a hole in the small tube on your valve cover?

Looks like your TMAP ground might be fucked. Mine did this 8 months ago and I did a very shitty fix that you might have to do unless you want to fork out money for a new DME. To be clear again, is that vent hose cracked right now or was it cracked than replaced (currently fixed) ?
