courage has left the building

It appears in the map I posted the courage was first moving from the port. I initially thought it was grouped in the large clump of ships at the bottom of the map, but once I blew up the image it now appears it was still in the group of ships in the narrow channel leading to the port. Unfortunately, this section of the map can't be enlarged like NY could be. I haven't been able to track her coming down to SC either so I'm assuming they don't have that ability. Either way, it should be here tomorrow and I'm hoping for a speedy trip through the VPC to the dealer.

My dealer said I should get the car shortly after Thanksgiving. My idea of shortly is a few hours. I just hope his wasn't a few weeks.

I was supposed to get mine by Thanksgiving. I'll be picking up a loaner in the next day or two - amazing what they'll do to keep a customer happy (until they get your money, of course

). I wonder if they will loan me a 335i?

I saw in a previous thread(west coast) people were hassling the trucking company shipping from the vpc center to the dealers. The trucking company was giving info based on VIN number. Do you (or anyone else) know what trucking company is shipping from SC to South East dealers?

I searched the Tracking forum and all I found was the west coast thread. Its only a few hours from me to you (OK, like 7-10 depending on where in GA), but I doubt I'll get this thing this weekend. Would be nice though....

not sure what trucking company for sure, but I have seen "wagonneers" throughout e90post...Your CA will have an ETA once your car is at the VPC! Make the call

ITS HERE!!!

Everyone may want to check with their dealers. My CA told me the car arrived today and will be ready by tomorrow. Man that was a quick journey through the VPC. From other posts, I really thought we were getting these in December. Ship unloads in SC on 11/21/06 and dealers in south Florida receive the cars on 11/24/06. 3 days from ship through customs through VPC and to dealer. All this with a holiday thrown in to boot.

I hope everyone receives theirs this weekend as well

same here .... Called my CA this morning and there was no delivery. I was told if the car arrives today I will receive a phone call, but so far no luck. Looks like Sunday or monday at the latest.

Just got it home. It was VERY difficult keeping it under 100mph on the highway. The car pulls in 6th gear. Unreal. It was wet out so I didn't push it too much around the corners, but it is an unbelievable car and well worth the wait.
