2006 E90 - how many miles do you have?

325i

I just turned 80k this past weekend. I am probably ahead of most of y'all, living in a large city with urban sprawl. Happy to report that, so far, no major issues. I had a few bugs, like driver side mirror not operating correctly, but (knock on wood) nothing major. Still have 20k left to go on my CPO warranty.

So far, synthetic oil changes at around 10k miles, premium 93 octane always, and just replaced my Contintental run-flats for the 2nd time (i.e. the car's 3rd set of tires).

Anyone over 80k? Reliability report?

Glad you've had good luck with yours. Have ~45k on my 06 e90 325i. It will be out of warranty in Oct. Within the last 12 months: 2 ignition coils, 1 battery, 1 headlight, 1 power door lock, water leak - weather stripping replaced. With all that work done, car is running like a champ, still looks new except for usual wear and tear.

I think I have you beat. I BOUGHT my 2006 325i @ around 75000 so I'm probably up to 85/90k now. I can't check now since it is in the shop though.

What was your mirror problem? My driver's side mirror folds too far out and I can't find how to fix it.

120 000 KM on a 2006 325i
Changed battery, 1 ignition coil, front and rear brakes and a crazy maintenance program. Changed all the fluids in the car in the last year.

at 62k now on my 325i. so far, great. Haven't fixed or changed anything more than what the computer says; even yearly oil change. still on original brakes. that is impressive! BMW replaced battery at 45k miles.

I want to change the AT fluid by using the suck/refill method, but sadly there is no refill hole in the engine bay that I can see.

but recently, the steering wheel is making noise when turn at low speed. I tried exchanging the fluid by sucking it out 2 times and still making noise. So, it's not the oil, even though the old one is so dark/dirty looking.

anyone have any ideas?

PS: my friend has the same car and at 130k miles now. he has done nothing more than what the computer says. I am hoping to get 150k miles for mine. then get Lotus or a used 7 series (if I have a family by then)

I've got 63k on my 330xi. No major problems here

EDIT: I did have the engine head replaced for the valve lifter tick....covered under CPO though.

And I have the infamous check valve leak behind the brake booster which causes the brake pedal to feel hard at startup sometimes.

I just deal with the check valve issue.

06 330i. 41k miles. No problems, only had it for 5 months. As I remember, the dealer history report had a couple minor things, nothing major. The report is in the car, not in front of me.

63K - head bolt problem, otherwise only minor things. Car runs great and looks like it's new inside and out. No ticking. Loving it.

59k. Right headlight replaced under warranty due to fogging. That was at 45k last year. This year at 53k left headlight is going bad and it's not covered. Still have maintenance till April 2012. I get my annual free oil change but I also do my own halfway in between.
