At Last..... Techno Violet beast has arrived
Hi all,
Thought you may like to know, that after much hassle, the new T.V beast is now with me ...... but....... im not sure if she'll go in the garage Tried it in the dark last night, was v v tight, so decided to leave it till the light - she safe and sound elsewhere for the mo, till I work out what the hell to do ! - All in all, im pretty chuffed with the colour combo.... See what you think.... Also enquired by the M3 spoiler again - apparently it looks they are starting to release them again, so that will be the first addition me thinks ! |

Congrats dude, that looks stunning.
As happy as I am with mine, I wish I'd been braver with the colour choice. Is a shame you weren't able to make last weekend, yours would have been a fantastic addition to the 'fleet' that blasted therough Cambs/Beds. I'm sure everyone who was on the run would like to do that again (there are plenty of other great roads local to those too, if we wanted to extend the 'run' element of the day) so i don't think it will be long before another cambs day is rganised - would be great to see you and the car in the flesh - those colours, no matter how great they look in photos, look so much better again in real light. Enjoy it dude.

Great looking car. Good luck keeping those 225s clean!
Sheps - yeah nice roads those. Perfect for a rip through the countryside. I agree that a reprise extended run would be enjoyed by all (especially if James could be persuaded to stay). |

HI J3 LFY
Congrats on finally picking up your car it must of been painful knowing it was at the dealers for the last couple of weeks. Techno Violet is an great classic M Colour. I am a bit of horder and I have one of the original E36 M Coupe brochures still and that is the featured colour throughout. The interior is Hazlenut I think from memory which is a darker saddle brown. Anyhow being about 22 at the time I went to bed at night dreaming of owning such a car! Anyhow your car brings back great memories. If I ever went colour to order techno violet or Avus Blue would be up their. Happy motoring in your fab new car. |

Many Thanks for the posts chaps.
Yes - v v happy with her. :thumsup Point taken with the camera btw - Was the old SE K800 jobby - thats getting swapped for the SE k850 on Monday (5mp) so hopefully should be a little better ! Yep - was defo up for the Cambs meet, but didn't quite manage to get the car in time - 2 days out ! If something else is arranged (South of Leeds) i'll be up for it - Would be good to meet you all ! As for Tech Violet - Your right - its not officially in the "Individual E92 Catalogue" - but you can get the the more traditional Indi colours - such as Estoril Blue, T.V, Silverstone etc if you ask your stealer nicely - only thing is, its a little more expensive than the current indi colours, but not significantly more. |
