PIAA... VS... LUX 4.0. ha ha ha

This weeknd Kev came down from boston to install his Silver CF Headlights. He has the PIAA ring markers, so obviously we took some pics to compare the difference. We got the new headlight installed ( On the Right) with LUX 4.0, and PIAA on the left.

First words out of his mouth, "Its like Night and Day" . HUGE DIFFERENCE. PIAA looked like it was barely on!!!!

Pics dont even describe it right. I wish i had my DSLR camera to take better pics.

Yes, LUX 4.0 are clearly brigther, but how was the color difference, doesn't look that different.

Color is very similar actually. LUX is much more defined due to it being a lot brighter. I would say they color was the same, but Much easier to see in the LUX

Big Ups on the comparison pics! You can definitely tell the difference. I was actually on this forum to find out which of the two I should get...and this pretty much solidifies my decision.

that silver cf is hot...kinda makes me wish I'd gotten silver instead of black...beautiful job Marc

I like the PIAA better cause it's that nice white just not as bright I can only imagine how it looks like at night filling up the whole headlight where the PiAA just lights up the ring

HUH? you like piaa because its duller and harder to see?

The camera gives a lot of distortion because Point and Shoot camera's have a hard time capturing light

It just looks like that in the picture. Trust me, if you see the LUX 4.0 at night, only the rings light up white. It doesn't glow like the way you see it in the pics. Like Marc said, if he had a DSLR the pics would have came out better.
