Question Early Build E90 Suspension Options?

My E90 325i was built in 08/2005. I have a leaking right front strut. In looking at the replacements the Sachs "Spring Struts" are $240 each!!! What aftermarket suspension options do I have since my car does not have the M sport suspension, but just the plain BMW stock suspension?? I was thinking about doing the Bilstein HD/Eibach combo from Turner, but not sure if that will fit. Thanks in advance.

I have an even earlier E90 build. I went with Bilstein HD shocks but kept the stock springs and I am happy so far.

With your number o'posts, gotta believe you know about Koni FSD's.

Big bubbles, no troubles. Pothole explosions no more. Designed for stock springs.

Totally have heard of the Koni FSD's. I was trying to read up as much as I could, but felt like it was getting more confusing the more I read on the options that would work.

If you dont want to lower your car, just go with the Koni FSDs and your stock springs

I am considering this now since I was able to find the FSD's for $630 from Tire Rack.

I will have my 1yo OEM performance springs and dampers (v2 kit parts) for sale in about a month if you are interested but most likely the price will be slightly more than FSD.
