CODING HELP (HALO TO HID) Car on Lift sign.
Hi, everyone, I have to say that before i post this thread, i have searched many threads on the forum, but could not find a solution.
my car originally come with the halo headlights (no projectors), I bought a set of depo 90s. and after i have them on, i have the car on lift error in my dash. like shows in the pic. it gives me the error code CC ID 231. (Lighting system failure) one of the post here http://www.e90post.com/forums/showpo...&postcount=150 the op had a solution but did not work on my car. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showpo...&postcount=228 When i check with the dealer, they told me that my frm is damaged, i have to replece the frm. but seems like all the lights are functioning, except the error sign. Can anyone help me out ? Thank you very much Merry Xams and Happy new year!!! Cheers |

So do the lights work?
Try this: NFRM module - change CC_MELD_RL_BL_1_ALS_TFL to nicht_aktiv NFRM module - change WL_SL_1 to hart_einschalten (this removes the on/off fading for the angel eyes) |

Honestly man you should try coding your car for xenons like he suggested. The bulb error would come from a partial lighting issue not a lighting system FAILURE. This indicates that there is a severe problem and not something small like a bulb error form the cars view point (flickering from our view point because we know the lights work). Xenon to the FRM and CAS VO's will work for sure.

I'm in the same boat as OP. I've had the car coded to xenon specs (w/o adaptive headlight codes) and I still have the red car on lift.
Every one of my lights works just fine. Never bothered asking the dealer because I knew they would say my FRM module is damaged, which I highly highly doubt. I've added $522 to the VO. $524 is for the adaptive headlights. If you add that, you have to then deactivate the check for them (unless you actually installed OEM adaptive xenon's) odd that you're getting a CCID though OP. Mine isn't even giving me a code. |

Well I've thrown pretty much everything at it, so I'm not sure what you're suggesting by me "ignoring it." It doesn't chime at me, and I've checked to make sure everything works, so I know nothing is wrong.
Moreso, there isn't a solution anyone has actually come up with. If you can solve it, come on down and I'll pay you. Until then, yeah I'm "ignoring it" |
