E90 M3 Heated seat retrofit

I'm hoping someone on here can help, I've been looking at E90 M3s for the past 6 weeks, and I am just getting myself ready to buy, however heated seats are a must, and many are specced without bizarrely, other than the heated seats many cars are perfect

I am not afraid to carry out the work myself, with the BMW manual it should be simple, however the kits on real OEM say they are not for leather or sport seats?

Has anyone carried out this upgrade, as I'm at my wits end looking for the ideal car.

PS if anyone has an interlagos blue, silverstone 2 E90 with Heated seats Bluetooth, EDC, USB, 19s and DAB for under 26k I'm interested DCT or manual

Honestly it's not a easy job, The retrofit kits are not for sport seats because of the extending front cushion, but leather, that seems crazy to me to allow that.

You can buy replacement parts such as the grids maybe, but you would still need to remove leather from the seat.

To be honest I would recommend waiting for car with the right spec, or buying seats with the heating elements already in from eBay or or other sources.

Budget any where from £750-£1000 for the correct interior with heated fronts. You can use your non heated seats and sell the rest for around the same.

You'll need the wiring £50 ish

Heated seat panel - £50 ish

Labour to fit it all - £400-£500 at a guess -its about a 5 hour job.

Or pay the extra and buy the spec you want.

I would wait, the cost and hassle to get it afterwards is very difficult. Struggled to find it for my non heated 335i and just gave up at the end and just promised myself, if it doesn't tick certain boxes then just ignore the car and keep checking day / night.
