30FF Code, but no Loss of Performance

Current engine codes from BT Code reader:
30FF- Turbo-charger Air Pressure too low
Occurred at:
· 89,661 mi at 3328 RPM
· 89,701 mi at 3776 RPM
· 90,685 mi at 3328 RPM

It occurs repeatedly when accelerating through that range of RPM. By the time I see it on the Tach, it appears to be about 3500-3600 RPM when I get the ½ eng Amber warning/alert with the associated text on the iDrive screen of Reduced Power. No reduction in power during the acceleration and car continues to perform normally afterwards. It resets itself when I turn off, restart the car.

Something appears to be tripping the alert without triggering the power reduction. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Woody

My suggestion would be to find the leak!

It could be a laundry list of things including but not limited to:
Vacuum lines
DV/BOV Leaking
Charge pipe clamps
Rips in couplers
Sticky wastegates
Boost Solenoids

With the mileage on your vehicle the first thing I would replace is all the vac lines.

Thanks Jeff. Will start with the vac lines, as suggested. Probably pretty brittle by now. Wonder why its tripping the Amber warning, but not actually reducing power. Or is this not that uncommon?

Replaced both vac lines running behind the Oil filter housing. Both were very brittle with ends starting to crumble. The lower hose which I think is for the aft turbo actually fell off the nipple when I was reaching to split it! Replaced with 5/32 (4mm) vac line from Auto Zone. where the lines run behind and against the Oil filter housing, I split another piece of the tubing and pushed it on the new line on the housing side to provide an additional layer of tubing. I'm at 90,600 so I guess I got my moneys worth. Solved the issue so far.
Thanks,
Woody
