Thank you guys!

Just this afternoon I swapped the trim to OEM Brushed Aluminum so I will post updated pics as I have them. I absolutely LOVE the way it looks and feels.

Thanks Jeff. I will be sure to point out your lack of a clean car tomorrow @ RB.

Great write up! Do you use something specific or the outside trim (black plastic in between front and rear door- not sure what it's called)

Also, are there specific places in the interior where 303 can't ve used?

Thanks!

My E92 doesn't have that anti-glare black plastic like the E90. What I would do with that however is use the Meguiar's M40 on it, that will keep the plastic protected from UV rays and prevent oxidation/discoloration. Apply it a few times a year:
Edit: M40 on sale now: http://www.detailedimage.com/Meguiar...-P402/16oz-S1/
M40 is a good vinyl/rubber cleaner too so if there's any stains, discoloration, etc already on there, it can help with restoration. And apply that to all your rubber seals to keep the conditioned. It will make a difference down the line.
You can use 303 Aerospace on it as well, it's an excellent protectant as the product name accurately states.

303 Aerospace is all-purpose so there's generally no restrictions. Personally I don't use it on carpeting (I don't put anything on the carpeting, just vacuum) or window glass (I have tint so damp microfiber towel is it). I also don't use it on my pedals as it can make the rubber a bit slippery (I don't clean the pedals period). It's hard to do wrong with 303. It's one of my favorite products. Lots of non-automotive uses too.

Fantastic work!!!

two questions for you:

1) What should I use to make the exterior rubber & plastic look rejuvenated?

2) The interior door plastic (upper portion, near the window) looks faded in direct sunlight. Any ideas (Klasse AIO, etc...)?

Thanks.

Hey tk9, I'd try the Meguiar's M40 first (on both items), that is its primary purpose:

Once it's rejuvenated, some 303 Aerospace Protectant would prevent any further discoloration/damage. It has UV protection amongst other things.

Thank you all for the compliments.

@Ian - thanks man. And hold that thought. I'm getting even more suspension work done (which includes a drop) in the coming weeks and a couple of other goodies.

BTW guys here is the aluminum trim swap I talked about:

Should have done wheels first imo. No point in decontaminating and protecting the paint only to get crap flying off the wheels/brush and onto the paintwork as your cleaning the wheels.

Still, looks good in the end.
