LMFAO sorry chaps. Well I have had some nice days to "play" and can confirm that the Quaife definitely improves handling and getting the power down. When the back end starts to break loose you can feel the power transferred to both wheels (more importantly the one with grip) rather than loosing it in the free spinning wheel. It takes a bit of getting used to, not coming off the gas the moment you feel traction break, but once you get used to the very small pause before you feel the grip again, it good fun for sure. Straight line, traffic light grand prix starts are much better and these are so addictive now also coming out of corners getting the power on earlier and sling shotting out of them is great fun too. If you are a cautious daily driver and drive like miss daisy, you won't notice any difference at all but it you like to "play" a little in standing startrs and getting through the twisties with more agility and speed then his will help

Yeah i think my car is definitely being weakened by the lack of LSD. More than enough power, too much power for this chassis without an LSD. I hate it that BMW didn't put one in, its ridiculous.

Long term plan is the M3 bits incl SF bushes, maybe diff bushes? And ARBs too but not sure which ones. But hopefully the next stage is an LSD!

Get the rear ARB done at the same time as the LSD. You have drop the rear subframe to do both, so you might as well save on labour and get both done at the same time.

I did'nt have to drop the rear subframe to swap the differentials ?

Mob, get an M3 front and rear ARB (E93 is stiffer) or get an Hotchkss like me, it is great, I only changed the front ARB

That's the angle i'm planning to take with the mrs, does seem logical
Have you done ARBs? If so which one did you go for?

I haven't heard of Hotchkss before will look into it.

I wish there was a document we all had that listed the thickness AND strength (as depending on material thinner could be stronger) for stock 335 ARBs vs Eibach, H&R, Hartge, Hotchkss etc. Each set would alter the grip/handling quite differently to each other i'm guessing.

I've got an set of Eibach ARBs with E90 M3 subframe bushes at the rear. To be honest the M3 subframe bushes have made the rear end a bit too firm, the ARBs are great though.

I'm intrigued to see the outcome. I guess the process will be same for all the gearboxes so this could open up a huge angle for the auto guys out there.

I wonder of E92 coupes are any more rigid than E90 saloons?

I don't really have experience of what something like an M3 may feel like compared to a 335i in corners. I barely feel mine sway or roll.

Will do. It's on the car and I will be going out for a good run in it over the weekend. It feels noticeably better already the torque converter locking up quicker makes a massive difference to the drive and power delivery in the 1st 3 gears and takes a bit of getting used to. All that loose sloshy feel has gone and it's even made the lad quicker to lock up

So how does it actually work? Is it software or a plug in or something?

Also noticed in your sig you have a sprint booster, Is that worthwhile?

I love the sprint booster. It transforms the car into a much more exciting drive. The gearbox remap is loaded with a flash uploaded that it comes with
