iPod Problem

Hey guys,

Whenever I plug my iphone into the apple usb wire to play music through my car, more than half the time the music will come from the phone rather than thru the speakers. I click on the ipod music option and it is supposed to play thru the speakers of the car. Any ideas on how to fix?

glad someone posted bout this, SOMEtimes this happens to me but maybe only 1/10 but def happens reoccurring...hopefully someone knows haha

Are you using the cable with the AUX and USB?

Run a search, I had a similar issue and posted a thread and also responded to someone having a problem with this. I'd type it here but im on my iphone and it's a lot.

Try another cable.

Have you done the software update? I'm having the same issue but when i try to update my software (even though it is the version i downloaded from BMW.com/update) it tells me it is incompatible software. I know, seperate issue but the update should help if you can get it to work.
