Gruppe-M Rep. intake installed on E92 328i *pics*

I've finally got my CF Gruppe-M replica intake installed in my E92 328, installation went pretty smoothly...pics!

Fits right into the fuel air sensor perfectly:

Looks like it will work fine, but I'm thinking that unit was designed for the E90, because the front of the G-M shield doesn't follow the contour of the engine compartment's front.

Compare it with this photo:

Actually, looking at the top view photos, the gaps don't look too bad.

go on ebay... and give the guy an offer at $250, ull get it.
i got mine, and it sounds like a BEAST. i dont know how orginal is, but idc, the replica is the shit.
hey ehhwik, in my e90, the cf heat sheild when actually screwed down to teh car makes it so taht the air duct tube doesnt fit properly....
i see that u didnt screw urs in, prob so taht the duct fits perfectly into teh cf cover hole. i might try that. is it ok to leave the sheild unscrewed,so that itll fit better? or is it not safe.

i think i can screw it in if i wanted to, but the screw that came with it was kinda crappy, and i think it is a tighter fit in the e92, perhaps because the car its self is narrower? i am just speculating, but everything else went fine...AND YES, IT DOES SOUND LIKE A BEAST!

yea, i wouldn't say the fit is 100% perfect, but its pretty close, i would say 98%, some screws couldn't be screwed on, (ex. theres a screw on the far right top end corner of the cf heat shield that i can't screw down tight) the holes should match up, but the screw they sent me aren't long enough, shouldn't be a biggy
