Air Ride Suspension for E90?

Hey does anyone know of a good kit to buy for an air ride suspension for an '06 330xi? I have seen a couple online but they are around 2k. I don't want to spend money on a bad product.

Bump! I found something called airrunner but I don't think they have an e90 xi application.

They do now. I just don't know if they make one for the awd though. Is there any difference for installation between the i and xi? Would the xdrive system malfunction because of the rapid height changes? That's my assumption.

Yea 2k was before I found airrunner. Their website says 3,699...msrp. I think, somewhere around there. 3200 installed isn't bad. Craven 328, please tell me those are east coast area codes? Don't know of an airrunner dealer around me and don't know if they will do that price. I really want an air ride suspension...not to raise my car like a ricer. I just want to be able to drive around knowing I can get over any obstacle without damaging the underside of my car.

So what are the pros and cons of an air ride suspension? I have always been interested in them in terms of being able to raise the car for inclement weather, driveways, ect.

How are they performance and comfort wise? Also I assume there's a weight penalty?

I have no idea about the performance but I do know the ride is allot smoother...your on air. My friend has a air ride suspension on his Lexus and it is sick. He can lower his car to the ground and raise it for bumps. Performance is decent I guess. I've never driven it...he won't let me drive his car and I won't let him drive mine. haha But he says it like stock.

Pros....great look, easy to adjust stance....

Cons...the weight added is not that bad. But its the tank and compressor. You can get a slim tank for the purposes of up and down and what not, but dont bet on constantly adjusting you ride height.
If your not carefull, you can mess your fender up...real bad....the first time I dropped my daily driver on air, I damaged the front lip, and fenders.

Then you have the compressor noise to deal with. On my daily I had an under the car set up, with a custom rear roll pan...but thats on a scion xb. I wouldnt do it on a BMW.

Performance...is out of the question, dont expect to track a bmw with an air ride suspension. The last thing you want is a bag blow out, or a line to go bad, and have your chassis dragging on the pavement.

My over all opinion is that you invest in a set of KW full coilover suspension. Cant go wrong with them, and are great for the track.

Well you can use AccuAir for the auto level as it will adjust it self for a couple of minutes after you finish the installation to find a good ride height etc.
