The only way is to hook up the car to the MODIC.

Otherwise flush the system with fresh fluid, activate the ABS by going out for a drive and slamming on the brakes (be careful!), then bleed the brakes again.

There is a procedure with the newer audis...hooking up to a VAG tool..but I dont remember exactly what that was. I am not familiar with the BMW equivalent.

anyone can point me to DIY for bleeding our brake system before I track? I see the bleed nipple but not sure if the old school method of bleeding brakes works the same on these cars.....just checking first.

Just use the classic bleed method. One man on the pedal. You on the caliper. Start in the back and move forward. Keep an eye on the master cylinder.

I've done this probably 10 times already, so I know it works.

Yes, listen to S4to335.

Try using the RBF600. I tried ATE Blue and #1, it stains everything blue and the dealer gave me crap about it....and #2 I still got fade on ATE Blue.

Now with RBF600, the pads go waaaay before the fluid.

big ups to S4to335 for the wisdom! appreciate everyone's input, definitely gaining the experience on track and off by soaking in what some of you "experience" yourselves....

According to Tech Talk the only way to effectively flush the ABS unit is with a GT1 or similar.
