When you say $20 per foto, is that $20 per print or $20 for the data file?

thats per file
pricing is based on the fact that lets say per car, we take 100-200 photos... usually people will only choose 2-3 photos that they like, or not choose any at all. I don't charge if people don't want the photos for whatever reason. As far as I know, price per pic in the industry is usually 50-300... some going up alot higher of course.

Do you have a studio at home to develop the pictures? That's bad ass, i always wanted to learn how to do that.

Anyways, off topic. What program do you use to process your images? I notice a couple of them are very pixelated.

I took a quick snap of this flower today, (Rebel XTi) used photoshop to post process it.

I'm just learning DSLR too, you've been in this profession for awhile, maybe u can give me some pointers next time?

I post process with photoshop, most of the above photos have been converted to medium quality jpeg from raw to make download faster, which is what you're probably seeing, the compression degradation.
Nice colors in your photo. XTi is a nice camera, I returned my XTi and sold my 20D to get a 5D. I might get the XTi again though (maybe even the new 40D depending on how good it is, digic III is exciting) the 17-55mm 2.8 IS is such a damn good lense... I really missing using that peice of glass

I would guess it takes alot of skills and practice combining f-stop, aperture and shutter speed for best running shots, like you did on mine

I think 2 car per session will work best, taking turns shooting each other on the road, while Ks does his photography...

Im in also for some early morning beltway or any good road shots F!

Photo of your car came out a little bit on the blurry side, wish we had done it sooner, like 30 minutes earlier and it would have been better. I think we can get some insane background blur if we're in two moving vehicles tho that will be exciting!

I would like a dramatic rolling shot and an artsy shot with an interesting background. I'd pay for these.

I'll let you know when we can set something up.

HAHA Nice picture... too bad we won't be able to replicate it... That photo is taken used with a camera mount attached near the wheel mount of the lead car... it requires we modify someone's car to take a camera mount. You can tell because the vantage point of the camera is so low. Plus looks like it's either using a wide angle or a fisheye... We'd have to get pretty close, like 1-3 feet away from each other? With a camera + mount protruding out from the side of the lead car. Not to mention this will require a closed circuit road and a laptop.. If someone wants to volunteer strapping $4k worth of gear onto a side of a moving vehicle then maybe we can do it

I looked on his website, and all of them seem to have really high vantage points or really low... we'd only be able to do something eye level as you're sitting down in the car.

We could try it if someone had one of those white work vans, a minivan, or maybe even an SUV.. problem is I don't feel like sticking my body out the back of a moving vehicle... risking my life for a $20 photo is hehe I can guarantee those shots cost several hundred if not thousands of dollars..

We'll be able to do some other moving shots tho, with the wheels all blurred and background blurred out like that, just got to find a clear stretch of road. Something pretty close to that yellow zonda

KrnNamja83 nailed it -- that photo is taken from a camera mounted down low on the rear of a lead car, with a fairly wide lens and with the two cars quite close to each other during a turn. It also has been fairly heavily (but artfully and expertly) Photoshopped.

You guys will get excellent shots, I have no doubt -- KrnNamja83 has nice work. No doubt he'll give you a few that you like even better than that shot. But don't expect that low of an angle.

Thanks for the explanation. If too involved to get that shot, then no worries.
Whatever we can do for rolling shots will do.
