Le Mans 2009
Any other E90 posters going this year? Its a great trip if you haven't done it - highlight of my motorsports year. Me and some mates are going and have spent most of today preparing for it - results are below, hope you like!!
First time we have stickered cars up though - thought we'd honour aston martin who are racing in LMP1 in gulf colours this year.. |

Wow, thats looks good in a bad way, will you be keeping them on ?
Could you let me know where you got them from ? I know I need some racing stripes for my next Nurburgring trip ;-) |

I think the company has decamped to Le Mans so you might have to wait until they are back! |

Cheers guys for your comments - I was quite pleased how it turned out given each of those stripes had to be put on seperately!
No - Mrs and the little one staying at home... If you take the missus and she doesn't like it you get to hear about it all weekend and if she does like it - you have to take her next time! |

Yep making the trip dow myself on thrusday. Been a bit manic, had planned to get the car stickered up but I came back late last night from holiday, in the office for 3 days and off again. Only just managed to get the car valated while I was on holiday! (I thought we were in a recession but he is chocker booked and I have to wait until mid july to get my ML done!!!)
Might see you on the way down, when are you leaving, which route? J. |

Looks great - we'll be going down Thurs am (0720 Eurotunnel) so I'll look out for, and honk at, any BMWs...
As I will only have had the car for 9 days by then I can't quite bring myself to go mad on vinyl, but it'll have my name on it Not long now! |

Matt your car looks superb. What happened to the CH'S?
although i do actually prefer the 18" m3 rims.

The CH's went some time ago in favour of some standard 19's. The 19's are off the car for the trip as I want it to be as stealthy as possible! LOL We're spending a couple of weeks in France in total, so thought the car is less obvious with the 18's on. I'll be de-stickering it after the weekend! LOL

Wanted to make it out to this again this year but i've got a wedding on Saturday. I'm the Best Man so no escape from it (did think about doing the speech via Skype but don't think that would of gone down too well) LOL.
Have fun boys and take some good pics for us stuck in Blighty!!! |
