1)If you guys want dynos someone paypal me $80 and I'll do then. Otherwise it's worthless.

2)Gavin is done making headers and he has sold them all. So again, good luck with finding them. For these reasons I won't be getting a dyno on my dime. I can feel a difference in the cars performance and that's good enough for me.

My money is going into the turbo e30 I'm building.

I am not, I am planning on getting an AA tune done in a few weeks time which will be able to clear the codes. So I'll be running for a little bit with a CEL unfortunately.

Does the AA off road tune make it possible to pass emissions in states that don't probe your exhaust? If so I might see if they'll let me update mine and make it off road.

No. That would be illegal.

Ah that's true, I didn't pay close enough attention. Regardless, they will probably sell pretty quick.

I don't mean to thread jack or anything, but I have a short video of my car idling with just the headers, nothing behind them. Figured I'd throw it in here since you probably won't get a chance to hear them like this and it's not worthy of its own thread. It sounds MEAN but if you're not on it hard it sounds like a broken old truck. That'll be fixed when it's complete.

Hahaha yeah about that... No joke, I haven't revved it yet. My neighbors have already given me disapproving looks from me leaving my driveway at low rpms, and I know from experience that it is very useful for setting off car alarms

So bad news

I have an oil leak under my car. Being a bartender, student, and whipped boyfriend I'm limited on funds so fixing the oil leak comes first unfortunately.

(unless some bay area folks want to help me perform the install )

Sorry guys!

That's no fun. I'm not sure what the extent of your experience is but I'll bet you could do it yourself. The bolt torque is only 13ftlbs so it's not really a struggle to tighten the ones that are hard to get to. I'm finishing mine up tonight, decided it was time to get these midpipes hooked up. Haha

Yeah, It seems more time consuming than anything else. I'll take it to a local exhaust specialist and see if he would be willing to do the job.
