E9X Common Fuel Leak And Repair Options

I have a 2007 E93 and recently car developed a fuel leak @ 65,XXX miles. I traced the leak and it is coming from rear driver side LPFP cover. Fuel squirts out from a tiny crack.

I searched and came across these parts from ECS:

https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...t/16117163295/

I believe this is all OEM, straight forward replacement.

I also read about an "upgraded" LPFP option and found the part here:

https://www.n54tuning.com/index.php?...-lpfp-upgrade#

OR

https://www.n54tuning.com/index.php?...2-lpfp-upgrade

My question is:

1. Are there any performance gains if I went with the kit from n54tuning?

1a. What's the difference between the stage 1 and stage 2?

2. Does the stage 1 come with just the pump or also the top cover (which is currently what's causing my leak)?

If it helps, my car is all stock now, but I plan to install JB4 in the near future.

Thanks all for your time and help.

Drivers side only has the filter, regulator assembly. Thats all. It does. Fuel gets sent from the fuel pump to the regulator to the engine..

The ecs part u have for the regulator /filter assembly is correct. If. You beleive u have a crack u need to replace that entire unit. In order to replace the entire unit, the passanger side fuel pump assembly has to be unhooked and 3 lines have to be unhooked before the fuel filter can be removed
