Helllpppppp!!!!

In need of some input!!
A friend of mine is willing to sell me his entire e90 m3 suspension i mean everything including front and rear subframe struts shocks,calipers rotors hubs, brake master cylinder setup etc..pretty cheap also due to him only purchasing the vehicle for the engine and trans and some other stuff. Anyways my car is an e90 335i wondering if this would be able to swap on to my car without any troubles. ive been doing some research on this but i have yet to find a thread if it can be done if i had absolutely everything..i dont want to only use some of it i would like to use all of it.. and do a straight up swap everything onto mine. any info or input would be greatly appreciated. thanks

The view to post ratio is probably because everyone saw the SOS coming from the USS Blazin and rushed to the scene only to found out that the captain was just wondering how the weather was going to be next week

Well, you're asking a question that no one has probably done exactly as you've asked. I'd say if both cars are the same chassis, meaning both sedans or both coupes, then there should be no issues as they will have the same mounting points for all the hardware you are replacing. I suggest that you review part numbers on real oem.com to make sure the fitment is correct. For instance make sure the M3 hubs (steering knuckle) is the same for both chassis to make sure the strut will fit properly, etc.

If I remember correctly, there's some custom work on the driveshaft that you will need to have a machine shop perform (basically 335 front, m3 back). Other than that, it should be pretty viable with the right tools and know-how. I only vaguely recall this from other threads on the topic, so you should be able to find your info with the right amount of searching.

Yeah, I'm doing the same thing right now and everything pretty much bolts right up except for the driveshaft. Car is n54 6mt and m3 dct diff cus it's 3.15. M3 dct driveshaft is about 20mm too long but it's turning out to be a little difficult to find a shop that will shorten and balance a BMW driveshaft in my area.

skyguy...i feel ur pain. i cant wait to start mine this weekend..thanks guys for all the input. i have a few driveshaft places around me but i have yet to get a price...ill let u know how much its gonna run me...

Good luck man - I'm soon hoping to do the rear sub frame swap. If you get a chance, could you get drive shaft shop to give you the exact measurements for the new drive shaft (NotIng if without rubber gearbox coupler or not)?
