Nice run... You need to get your 60' times under control and you'll be cutting high 11's all day long for sure. Are you launching from 2nd? I had a lot of issues with launching before I put a couple of rubber washers over the throttle pin under the foot peddle. Keeps it from hitting the kick down. Then I just re-calibrated the peddle. Anyway, nice run....

Yeah I'm slowly getting the hang of launching with the shitty runflats. Traction is always an issue for me, so yeah I am launching in 2nd gear. I'm not brake boosting though as that completely overpowers my tires. I know the car has high 11s in it, but I am more than enthusiastic about my trap speeds and the consistency of the tune. I'll post the slip later on, but last night I ran a 12.0@118mph with the same setup and slightly better 60ft.

Cobb ftw!

Hopefully your dropping the tire pressure. I know that made a big difference on my launch. 20psi and get them hot. You should hook boosting in second then, just don't over do it and you'll see some nice numbers. Good luck, 118 is nothing to laugh at that's for sure.

What's special about the logs? Other than you having some obvious timing corrections, it looks like you are running some pretty high boost in the upper Rpm's, and very conservative boost in the midrange.

On another note, is AFR1 = bank 1 land AFR 2 = bank 2? You have some crazy AFR readings on AFR2.

Usually N54's running lows 12s even 12.0 are running a hell of alot more boost. Thats the point.

You're actually running quite a bit of boost up top, most tunes taper boost more. I'd almost be willing to bet your car would be faster with less boost, your trap should be higher.

If you are referring to me, I used to run more boost in the midrange while you run more boost in the top end.

You nor Dan, for the record, were not even on my mind when I made that statement. Its just something I have seen with other tuned N54 in general making the same numbers

Is there a reason you are not using pure 100 octane?

No specific reason other than when I get to the track I already have 93 octane in the tank and then add some 100 octane on site to raise the octane level before pushing the car.

Never got a change to runs straight race gas

Looking at the log you posted, and seeing how aggressive the tune is, i would love to see some logs on 93 pump gas. I would wager you having timing corrections out the yin-yang.

if you plan ahead; the week before going to the track only keeping enough gas to make it to the track on almost empty then putting 6-8 gallons of 100 should yield good results and that coveted 11s pass

If it helps, that random log I previously posted was on 95 octane

I'll have to find mine and get it up here. I live in Alaska, so I am running 90 Octane + Meth in order to get the octane that I need. I believe my 60's are around 1.8 as well. I'll have the lowest octane rated gasoline on the board!
