rear hub extenders, do they exist for our cars?

I have front hub extenders, do they make rear hub extenders? Reason is I want to use a 8MM spacer. probably wondering why not just use a 10MM? I am fitting 305's here soon and 10MM is just a hair to big I believe. With a hub extender I could use a 8MM and still be hubcentric.

Why do you need to be hubcentric? Lugs are good enough. Also, the difference between 8mm and 10mm is really negligible. The difference, 2mm, is about as thick as a quarter.

actually that quarter thickness will keep my rim from possibly scraping on inner fender... depends how far the 305 sits on the rim....295 is almost flush so 305 will probably offer a bit of rim protection. With a 285 and 10MM spacer my rim barely scraped the inside fender (rolled and heavily modified, grinded down and flattened).....tire did not rub since tire is a bit stretched. I have a 295 now with a 5MM spacer and no rub (again, rim sticks out slightly more than tire), would like to to have a 305 with out possibly shaving inner lip off so a 8mm would be perfect since a 10MM would cause a bit of rubbing. I would really like to be hubcentric when going the speeds I go. I do have a stud conversion wich is better than lugs but rather just be hubcentric.

I think at a local meet last year, Dr. G on the forums was using 8mm spacers with hub extenders so maybe you can ask him.

No venders makes/sells them that I am aware. However, Chris Bull at VAC (he's no longer there) told me last year when I purchased front hub extenders from them, they were working on an option for the rear. You might want to check in with VAC.

you run the risk of breaking lug nuts when your wheel are not resting on the hub

Why wont they fit on the rear exactly?

Are the rear hubs a different size?

I'm in email with VAC now and they are asking me these questions about the diameter etc..
