Thumbs down Beware of second_2_nun!! He has over 5000 posts and still this!

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=427916

He sold me the 8000k D1s bulbs and the OEM gloss black grills.
I told him specifically that I'll buy the bulbs only if it's Mtec or Philips.
He told me the bulbs were Philips so I bought it (I should've known better, 8000k D1s Philips bulbs does not exist).

I got the package and turns out the bulbs are some chinese no-brand bulbs and I'm not even sure if they are 8000k because there is no labeling.
Also the gloss black grills were from AUTO TECHNIC and NOT OEM as advertised. Also it had a borken clip. But I did not make a problem of that and just asked for the refund for the bulbs.

-----------------------------------------------
This is what he PM'd me:

Glad you received everything. Sorry I thought they were philips brand. But honestly they are great never had any problems with them or any errors. I paid $160 for them. I honestly feel bulbs are bulbs and just throwing a name brand on them doesn't make them perform any better take hdmi cables for example. They perform of the same quality no difference between a Chinese brand and a monster cable. I look up reviews on everything. Unfortunatly I don't have funds to refund you just install the bulbs and be happy . They're will be no noticeable difference between any brand.
-----------------------------------------------------

I said I still want a refund because I wouldn't have bought it if I knew it was not philips or mtec no matter what the quality is. He was selling a PBX that I wanted so I told him that since he doesn't have the money I'll take the PBX and pay the difference. He refused and now he's ignoring my PMs.

I know his name and address.. What should I do??
This is pretty ridiculous because he has over 5000 posts and over 30 itrader ratings. And yes I saved all his PMs. Also he is demanding everyone to send him funds as gift. I did also because he did have pretty good reputation and now this!!!

EDIT: second_2_nun never made it right and decided NOT to refund me.
And I'm not going to bother anymore with this guy.
He also left me a negative feedback in the process
I hope the moderators can delete the neg. feedback for me..
BEAWARE this guy does not have the right mentality and I recommend not dealing with him at all.

that's disappointing to hear. He's got a good reputation, this is the first bad I've heard about him.

This is ridiculous.. There's no way he did not know they were some no-name chinese brands and he straight out lied they were Philips. And now he's refusing to make it right. Should I disclose his name and address or is that going too far? I mean it's only $100 so I don't really care about the money. It's just shocking to me that someone with his reputation is doing this.

Anyone here know second_2_nun personally? Scammed.

Someone should tell him to make this right: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=434386.

And Yes, I warned him that I'll be posting it everywhere if he doesn't make it right.

only if I knew anyone in socal. *sigh*
I just sent the money to him that way since it was a small amount of money and his reputation. Who knew someone with 5000+ posts and 30+ itrader ratings would scam you over a $100??

disclosing his name probably won't solve the issue, but for a revenge ... HOWEVER ... better check with a lawyer first, you don't want that to come back and bite you, not for $100 dispute anyway.

Good luck, i hope you can get that resolve

So if you bought some BBS rims online and paid the authentic bbs rims price, and when you get it it's a cheap chinese rep, you wont be pissed? Because rims are rims right?

It is a scam 100%. No arguing or discuss about that.

I'm always surprised by people who care so little for their reputations. Maybe they are counting on the rest of us turning the other cheek. From my perspective, the least that people who cheat others should expect is that they will be outed for the scoundrels they are.

I can't speak to the legal ramifications of disclosing the name and address of someone who has cheated you, but if he doesn't have the money to pay you back I doubt he's going to find a lawyer who would be interested in taking him on as a client.

I tried, it says 'you cannot dispute this transaction because it is not a service or goods'.

You can, I am doing it right now, plead my case and they had no problem starting a claim. They actually review the history of the seller and if there is something there they have no problem going after them. GL
