0-62 in 5.2 seconds id say is quick enough.. not to mention the go kart like handling and 4 wheel traction... with quad exhaust sounds coming out the back

Also a remap to 304 bhp is very easy some claim 320+

Oh and S, I thought you had tried an RS for some reason.

Sure it is nice enough but I would rather your 320d over one of them.

5.2 is VERY optimistic!!! Deffo in standard trim not as quick as a standard 335d!!

4wd and a bastard launch will enable a good 0-60. Rolling though the 335d monstered it!!

5.2 is the official spec.. i have read reviews which claim this is conservative..

it has similar power to a 335d stock but it also has only a fraction of the weight of a 335d and also 4 wheel traction....

never seen a remapped TT S so i dont know how it would far vs a 335d remaped

TTS in manual, very fast off the line....but a 335 would smoke it from 40mph onwards.....

The TTS always leaves me about a cars length (the manual gearbox and quattro system does help!!!)

i would say 5.2 for a TTS is quite optimistic....5.4 is more likely...i need to get a stopwatch! ;-)

On youtube they timed a 0-60 in 4.9 and a 104mph 13.6 1/4 mile

I would expect a 300+ bhp remap to do some serious damage to those 1/4 mile stats

Haven't timed the TTS, but my butt dyno tells me it would crack 0-60 in about 5.4.....

then again i could be wrong, like when i though my 335i was pushing about 350bhp and it made 336bhp....

The manual TTS does it in 5.4 seconds, this one was the S tronic which is 5.2

i still say thats fast enough for a little 4 pot engine!

You must have driven some rather odd 'go karts' Only jesting, 3 of my wife's friends have all bought TTs recently, they all love the cute look and Audi badge.

If you want a 2 seater sports car why not get a 370Z or Cayman. Both are much better drivers car compared to a dressed up golf!

around 5.5 give or minus 0.2 for the DCT and Auto. DCT being the fastest then manual then auto

Cayman has been on my radar for a while but i just dont know much about porche and rumours around repair bills and servicing costs put me off slightly. Plus im not totally sold on the interior yet..

370z no thanks, high tax and low mpg make for a poor car on business use.

i need to run my business miles on around 23p per mile and road tax should be no higher than £250 per year.

I've owned an E92 335i DCT for 10 months now.

It is well worth the extra.

Never drive it in Auto if you want to go fast. The box will assume you're changing up, and the 2nd clutch will already be in the higher gear.

0-60 = 5.2 seconds consistently, and I have done sub 5's on other occassions - all depends at what rpm you shift. Car Dyno'd at 345 bhp 450Nm torque. No Mods.

Rev matching on downshifts. This makes you sound like a pro racing driver and gets a lot of attention, especially with the golf tee mod (another subject).

Launch Control. Look it up on youtube, it's fantastic.

Not to mention the lightning fast gear shifts.

Did 13.4 quarter mile at Santa Pod on Sunday and will be looking at 12.5 next time around when I can sort out the grip.

Last car was a Boxster, £1500 for a 2 yearly service, £500 for a broken ignition switch.
They cost big money to service and fix. Look nice though and you get more attention from women :-)
