Gold Tee Mod- Does the 325i have the wire?

I want to try out the golf tee mod on my 06' 325i, but I read somewhere a claim that only the 330 and 335 have the actuator wire inside the trunk on the driver's side. Is this true or is there also a wire in the 325i that I can disconnect? If so is it in the same location? I don't want to get under the car, but most importantly unhooking the wire seems like a cleaner and quicker way to achieve the mod.

You don't even have an exhaust flap.

Also, IMO this mod is fairly pointless - it opens up as soon as you cross like 10mph anyway.
