I'm sorry for my ignorance but feel I am getting a better grip on things now. I am only here to learn and I pass on my knowledge and experience when I can and know very little about this subject. But I do have a few more questions...

I assume when you say spray at 10psi you mean start at 10 psi and max out at 14 or 15 psi, no? If this assumption is wrong, please correct me. I see the stage 1 offers no control module on how to taper the injection, but is it activated and shut off at specific PSIs? Or is a fixed amount just injected at, let's say, 10 PSI, and then as boost builds nothing is injected, but then when you upshift, the boost will have to hit 10 psi again, and then it will inject again?

BTW what do you think of their nitromethane product? I know this stuff is commonly used in drag cars and is nothing to play around with as it can easily go kaboom! But would this small amount be safe to run in the water/meth mix?

No telling it to increase spray from 10-15 will be worse. This is because if you lets just use random numbers to explain this.

Lets say you spray "4" at 10 psi and "8" at 15 psi, your "8" will have to be low enough as not to bog the engine at 3-4k where you see 15psi. But because you ramped it up from 10, 10 is a lower "4".

Now lets say you just tell it to start spraying at 10, you now spray "8" at anything above 10psi, which is better because you'll get more spray in at higher RPMs. Get it?

Crap maybe I should just make a drawing. Time to open paint.

Black line is HP, the other black line is bost, green line is rough idea of best spray, yellow line is fixed spray, red line is if you told it to start at 10psi and ramp up to 15 psi.

Yes when you upshift it will have to build to 10 again, but that's near instant.

I haven't looked at their nitromethane and have no intention.

So a fixed spray @ 10 psi on upwards to 15 psi would suffice then? I am getting all the information on a kit my buddy can put together for me for 700 - 750 including install. He has to check which kit his mechanic uses though before he quotes me an exact price.

It would work, but it would be the worst setup you could possibly do. Which is why its the RED line instead of the YELLOW one.
