330d detail :)
Hi all, long time since i've done any real 'details' as such! A friend of a friend has just 'dowgraded' his E39 M5
for this; a 330D m sport , 2006 remapped to 292 BHP, its Le-Mans Blue with black leather, in very good order for a 2006 car, only front o/s wing had been painted, just wanted a bit of love as water would just sit on the paint. Process; Jetwashed with the Karcher wheels sprayed with Autosmart ALI washed with 2bm & Duragloss shampoo & wookies fist. Dried with Kent massive microfibre drying towel Clayed with Autosmart purple clay & the remaining duragloss soapy water from washing it Machined with an Autosmart pad & Autosmart 'mop' compound, not a full correction detail as such, just to remove some marring/heavy swirling. polished with poorboys black hole by hand finished with Swissvax Onyx, first time using a real 'boutique wax' which i was impressed with, can't say i noticed a massive difference visually compared to say collinite for the look of it when i'd finished? tyres dressed with Autosmart hi-style interior dressed with Autosmart 'sillicone spray' hoovered with the henry Carpets with the VAX seats cleaned/conditioned with Gliptone twins All in all, a pleasing little job, give me a lot of job satisfaction on completion. Hope you enjoy Jamie [/ |

One of the things that sells me every time on boutique waxes is their ease of use. It makes it worth every penny. One of the big differences is you get clearer and more refined reflections with a high end wax.
