Why do Liberals like to silence people they don't agree with?

https://www.seattletimes.com/seattle...uw-in-seattle/

Quote:
Five people were arrested, American flags burned and police officers used bicycle barricades and pepper spray to separate demonstrators at the University of Washington’s Red Square on Saturday during a much-anticipated rally called by supporters of President Donald Trump and others who said they aimed to promote free speech.

The rally — led by leaders of the College Republicans and their guests, the right-leaning Patriot Prayer, based in Vancouver, Washington — was peaceful early on. The chaos came roughly 75 minutes in, despite officers’ efforts to keep at a distance a couple of hundred protesters who far outnumbered the pro-Trump crowd.

I believe Rodney King said it best, "why can't we all get along".

Blinded by hypocrisy with no ideas other than to scream at the victor.

Douglas Schoen, pollster for Bill Clinton. Today:
'The Democrats are playing blame game politics, using every opportunity to grab attention and position themselves to appear morally superior to the Republicans. These tactics were evident at the State of the Union, when congressional Democrats sat on their hands and refused to stand to show their respect. This strategy is flawed and failing. More and more leaders and voters are becoming alienated from the party, and the advantage that they hold for the 2018 midterms appears to be shrinking.'

Drowning themselves in the blame and cry foul barrel. Throw some violence in and voilà.

Because a lot of their arguments lead to them either being hypocritical and/or backing themselves into a corner. This is why we see them eat their own over and over, especially in the last few years. Add in a superiority complex, a willingly biased and compliant media, and you have a large group of people who think they are the moral authority to everyone, and thus have the built-in ability to censor anyone who doesn't agree with their dogma.

They got the headlines they were looking for. What do you think is going to happen with that message in that environment. Are you actually surprised by the results?

Tell me honestly, what would be the outcome if I gathered up 5 liberal friends, shipped in a far Left leaning group like BLM, PETA, or the National Socialist Party, and headed out for a rally in Birmingham at the local dirt track speedway? Would I be greeted with an open minded response and encouraged to exercise my 1st amendment rights? Answer honestly, Bubbz.

I'm not saying what occurred at the UW is right, but I'm also not playing like I'm shocked and surprised.

The modern regressive left has become a mirror of the social conservative fundie culture police from the 90's, their moral authority comes from being on The Right Side Of History, and opposing Literally Hitler so why would they want to debate the righteousness of their positions with Literally Nazis?

Luckily despite the regressive Fun Police seemingly running the D show both parties are firmly set on only appointing establishment insider corporatists like #her, so even if the SJW left sweeps into power on a wave of pussyhats, anti antisemitism (sorry, I mean 'pro Palestinian') and race baiting, our Goldman Sachs, citibank overlords will still be calling the shots.

Probably comrade Che.

The libs in Obama's IRS went after groups they didn't like.

I'm sure you'll find a justification for it.

LOL that's my alma mater, I went there during the earlier years of this decade.

It seems like a lot has changed over the past 2-3 years. When I was there I didn't find the political climate to be crazy. Seems like I escaped before the SJWs infiltrated.

How about you answer my first post, Bubbz, before you go off on a tangent. Here, I'll repeat if for you:

As for your Obama / IRS tangent, I realize you are a whole 30 posts in here, but don't be so quick to assume you'll know how I'll respond.

If you can't see the parallels in mentality (highlighted in red), then we probably don't have much to debate.

Enjoy your Sunday.

This is nothing specific for the liberals. People in general tend to do that unfortunately.

You should really read the articles you post.

Quote:
House Republican investigators found no connection to the Obama administration, according to a 2014 report.

But the report did blame IRS officials for mistreating conservative organizations who sought tax-exempt status and that IRS officials covered up the misconduct and misled Congress.

The officials included former Commissioner Douglas Shulman, former acting Commissioner Steven Miller, and Lois Lerner, the former head of the unit overseeing applications for tax-exempt status.

Obama fired Miller after an internal 2013 IRS audit released found poor management - not partisan politics - led to an “inappropriate” focus on conservative groups.

Time and time again, it's the liberal students that silence conservative speakers not the other way around.

Even during the presidential campaign, the libs caused a Trump rally to be cancelled by acting like thugs, attacking Trump supporters etc.

As if Trump supporters never attacked Liberals?

I distinctly recall two specific, barbaric actions by Trump supporters during a Trump rally: Trump supporters assaulting a protester for wearing anti-Trump shirt; and several Trump supporters ripping apart a protestor's sign and taking a piece (followed by an assault? Can't recall). The latter reminded me of a scene out of Planet of the Apes.

Once again, we witness one side accusing the other of something the former is guilty of...

So Trump supporters didn't attend any Liberal rallies? Only Liberals attended Trump rallies?
