Thanks bro. I know it said the car had a bunch of Hartge stuff in the article but it didn't specify the exhaust.
Wonder how it sounds?

I'm not a big fan of quad tip exhausts, but have to admit, those look SWEET on that coupe.
It is listed in the attachment. The suspension is custom Bilstien/springs with thier own custom sway bars F: 27.5 R: 20.5.

Hey BMWMike, if you could get some comments/advice from your tech on the installation job that you could post that would be truly awesome.

I will have full Quaife info later today.
The local Quaife LSD authorized shop is putting on in an M5 today.
They will let me know what the install takes.

Supposedly, it's about 6 hours.

where did you get 2K ?

it's not going to cost 2 K.
There is still no official pricing yet.

Should be more like 1700 out the door.

Even though this isn't a true GB, the thread is going to be closed, as Quaife/Autotech are not official sponsors.

I started a new INFORMATION thread here:

Because Qaufie and Autotech (the importers) are not official sponsors.

Some of the Official sponsors didn't like it.

I wish I could go for a test drive in the dirt with your car...
Well, now I’ve got close to 3,000 km's on my Quaife and the oil was changed today. They said the differential oil was murky but, good news is, there was no sign of any metal filings. It was filled up with Redline 75/90 synthetic.

Thanks bmwmike, all of us fence-sitters really appreciate the way that you stuck your neck out and got one, and have given us most useful feedback on its performance.

The info I would now like to have is how the combination of the Quaife with PROcede works.

that price is close enough.... i just happened to miss it in the 8 pages of posts so far.

Why would i be intrested?? because I just ordered a 335Cp.

The REAL problem is being able to find a shop around here good enough to do the work..

Well, then you should drive up to Vancouver (save 20% on the dollar to pay for your gas) and have the shop that did mine do yours They have lots of experience doing it on street and racing BMW's and have done mine already and will be doing a few other 335i's.

I'll probably be down your way the first weekend in May for a road trip with friends to see friends in my car. I usually get down to Portland and Olympia quite a few times a year - it's about 5 hours to Portland.

Actually, the article on the Bird's car is one that has been lightly tuned for more hp. It reacts the exact same way as i explained, just more power to spin the wheels but you have more traction before you reach the wheel spinning.
