Arkym T2 trunk from PYSpeed

Honestly this was an impulsive buy, but Sean@PYSpeed came through with the price I could not turn down. After spending 3 hours with a body shop guy Saturday morning, we got the trunk installed and I gave it a proper wash this morning. I LOVE THIS TRUNK!!!! I got a compliment within 5 minutes I pulled out of the driveway....!!!

Quality is very good, but I notice "dripping" on some edges and for those who want to tackle the installation himself or herself, THINK AGAIN. Fitment is a 9/10 IMO, the hardest part was to install the two inner rear taillights.

Also shout out to Cash @ Metro City Euro in Houston, local guys should check him out.

Pictures are crappy, but I did my best.

Any plans on painting the cf? Trunk looks good but I think it'll look a lot better at least partially painted.

Of course it looks way better but this trunk reminds me of a mtech e90 spoiler molded on.

No plan on painting at the moment, might do it eventually.

Honestly the CF stands out much less on a black car, the trunk looks really POPPED in the pictures due to direct sun light IMO.

Yeah I kind of figured, I always thought cf looked good on black and graphite colored cars! Nonetheless that trunk is badass. I want.

Nice mod and good choice, not much people have this trunk from what I see. I love the look of Arkym in every angle but the side view.

That rear looks on point man! CF is a hard look to pull off, cheesy if overdone, but I think your "is" pulls it off perfectly!

paint the trunk - it's a BWM, not an Asian import.

I'd leave the CF exposed, but I'm a sucker for CF trunks so that's that…Love the design, not sure if I prefer this or the Amuse trunk. Sweet!

yama, your iS looks great with the new trunk, and i think that you should definitely let it stay CF especially since your diffuser is also CF - it'll look a lot sikker IMO

thanks for sharing!!!

How difficult is it to remove the trunk button (I think that's what it's called) and re-install it on the new trunk? Definitely want to get a CF trunk in the future. Looks great btw!
