My only concern is if my kw strut bolts will fit in holes and if the nuts will fit in the machined holes.

Pics of the bar on the car would help as it's hard to determine fitment, especially when the brand is unknown.

Did you purchase it from a forum vendor?

you're comparing aluminum to a real CF bar? Is that a joke?

And its 350 obo. But seriously you think an aluminum one is worth the same? lol

for those checking that link thinking these are even close to the same thing, this is actual LAYERED Carbon fiber, not just some cover.

It's carbon laid over aluminum, which is fine, but for looks only. Obviously comparing it to bare aluminum bar isn't fair since this one does have the carbon. Don't know if it's worth 5x the aluminum version. It's the knockoff of the AA bar, but they use one bolt and AA one has two.

It Is Not cf over aluminum. I'll get pics of the sides where you can almost count the layers. Please don't post things assuming when you dont know, if you aren't interested I would appreciate if you just don't post.

I would love to see pics of the sides. Never seen a layered carbon strut bar. If they just stacked carbon and cut it, that would be hilarious and aluminum wrapped in carbon would be way stronger. I was going with carbon laid over aluminum because most parts like this are made that way. And where it bolts to the towers, the part where the one bolt is is black and the carbon part is thicker than the black part which is why it looks overlaid. Most of the time when a carbon part is the exact same design/dimensions as an aluminum one, it's overlaid. Carbon and aluminum have very different properties so typically they don't look the exact same.

If you look at just about every real carbon strut brace out there like BMW Performance or similar, the metal parts go over the carbon for strength. And the carbon fiber version looks different than the aluminum one.

Good luck with your sale, I just popped in because I was mildly interested in the part.

I will remove my post if it is not a eBay part...that was my only concern. In your defense you wouldn't have known. I Ann actually interested in this. I may sell my BMW performance brace for this one. I like the design.
