Vinyl Wrap - Post up your exterior vinyl body wraps here
Hey guys
Just searching for pics, and there seem to be a heap of guys with their own individual threads for their vinyl wrap transformations, but I cant find a dedicated thread which has everyone's vinyl wrap transformations! So post em up and lets see yours! I'm loving the frozen grey look, and since my car is space grey it should be a pretty good match: |

Hexis Kiwi Green and the roof is wrapped in Hexis CF. So far it's been wrapped for 2.5 years and everything is still in good shape. It's parked indoors most of the time though.

Wrapped my car with my friend two years ago with no experience! Holding up pretty well considering I get lots of snow where I live.

the carbon fibre wrap is VVIVID Gloss black carbon fibre!
It's a really thick wrap (it's not a printed wrap hence why it doesn't look fake) and I believe it has 3 layers to it's construction giving it that realistic affect. When you run your hands over it, it's extremely glossy, and you can feel a slightly rippled finish like the real deal! |

3M doesn't make any CF vinyl that looks very glossy, unfortunately.

3M doesn't make anything close to that glossy, that's "4D" carbon vinyl. I've considered having my roof redone in that material, still debating. It is much glossier and has much more depth than the standard 3M 1080. But the weave doesn't look as good; it looks good at first, but when you look closely, it looks slightly off. The 3M and equivalent materials look better up close as the weave has a more uniform pattern and looks like woven material. The 4D stuff looks more like a printed pattern and has a little fuzziness to it. If they could combine the 3M 1080 weave with the depth of 4D, it would be perfect.

You could have told me that's a M3 roof swap and I would have believed you. Best CF wrap I've seen by far. Great job!
