Does the price for the 335i apply to the N55 engine as well as the N54? Assume the gains are a bit less with the N55 but realistically what sort of power and torque increases can be expected?

No this does not include the N55. Due to the time it takes to remove and refit the ECU there are no discounts on the N55.

Gains are 40-50 BHP and 50-60 lb.ft torque.

Imran, what is the difference between coming in and having a remap/rolling road Vs. getting the r-cable?

Also, I keep reading about JB4...why would I go for an Evolve map over a JB4?

Ok, thanks Imran. Where does that leave the price of a remap for the N55? Had a quick look on your website but can't see a price on there!

No difference except you receive a graph showing you before and after power.

Have no experience with JB4 so unable to comment on it.

Hi Imran will be looking to have my 330d remapped but I also want the DPF removed, is this something you do or do you just do the tuning?

We do not get involved in the physical removing of DPF so would only be able to do the tuning.

Imran,

I just had the security update done to my E91 320d that stops the key recoding problem that's been causing a lot of bimmers to be nicked recently. I took the evolve map off before taking it in for the software upgrade, I assume that I can reload the evolve map with my switch now or will the software update be wiped off if I do this? Does it just stick the map back on? If the software is at risk is their a way to sort it out.

Cheers

Demig

p.s. I had forgotten how much difference there was till I drove home with it set to the stock map!

Try and reload it. If it doesn't then you will have to read the ECU data again and send it to us for retuning.

Are you guys open between xmas and new year? Thinking of getting myself a remap for xmas

Also silly question given you guys do before and after dyno runs, what happens if the before dyno run shows the car has issues? (don't think mine has any but just wondering...)

Yes we are open Thursday/Friday that week between Christmas and New Year.

If the dyno runs shows an issue of course we do not tune it and recommend that you have the issue seen to. If this happens you just pay for the dyno run.
