I officially hate having a car!

So for the third time in the 12 months I have owned my car, someone has decided to run their car into my bumper!

following a visit to a coffee shop in town last night, i appear to be suffering from someone elses parking rash!! clearly they decided that my car was cheaper than a parking sensor... just listen out for the scraping sound and everything is ok!!

THIRD bloody time!!!

first time it was someone who was too close on a motorway, didnt brake in time and hit me... so i got a new bumper and fresh paint.

second time, some silly moo decides to not look behind her when reversing out of her space, thankfully that one just needed a machine polish.

This time, it'll definitely be needing paint!

so people.. talk to me about M-Sport bumpers

what do i need to go from mine to a sport?

-will my bumper guides take a sport bumper?
-will my parking sensors fit?
-are both preLCI and LCI sport bumpers compatible?

ahh man!!! sorry to see/hear that bud

on the bright side looks like you are looking to upgrade to a M Sport bumper

the Msport Pre LCI is definitely compatible as another member on here has done it!

here is the link,

This sucks! I am sorry hear about that mate.

You are definitely unfortunate! As Sumil said... You can only look at the bright side, othwise you may decide to murder someone out of anger. Look at it as an opportunity to spend some money

Edit

Some more money

Sorry to hear that.
Buy m sports brackets. They are only £25-30 for a pair.
Buy a skin. Shift your current sensors to new skin and fit it.
Get it painted.
To keep things oem, buy lci bumper with sensor holes.
All the best.

Same for me two bumper scrapes and another scrape down the full length it seems that it is an accceptable thing now and not worth reporting. Probably down to to many people trying to park their cars whilst still on the phone.

Just fitted a rear diffuser, gave the supplier my reg. to make sure I got the right one and was quite surprised when I received it to find it was the right colour. I just wondered if you could get one ready painted?

yeah its not ideal!! and i'd kinda intended to keep the car as original as possible, so still deciding if i want to go down the bumper route

the reality is, who'd know the difference. I doubt even an insurance adjuster could verify if the car never had that bumper from day one, given the addition of the sport pack on my spec and abundance of sport extras in the car.

we shall see

As you can imagine I went ballistic, it was fresh off the lot, 50 miles on the clock BAM
